Day 41 – Gates Set in Place: Order Established, Protocol for the Place of Glory
On Day 41 of our 52-day journey, the Lord moves us from “It is finished” into the next phase: establishing order and setting gates in place.
Nehemiah 7:1 records what happened after the wall was completed and the doors hung:
“When the wall was built and I had hung the doors, when the gatekeepers, the singers, and the Levites had been appointed…”
The structure was ready. Now trained hands were placed in position. Gatekeepers, singers and Levites were appointed according to their specific callings. Order was restored. Worship was re-established. The presence of God could flow freely.
God is a God of order. Every open door needs a trained guard.
The gates the Lord is setting in our lives today:
- Relationships – Keep the right people in your circle.
- Time – Steward your days intentionally. Time is life.
- Access – Decide carefully who enters your life and who receives your attention.
- Finances – Close every leakage. Walk in obedience with tithes, offerings and Spirit-led giving.
- Speech – Set a watch over your mouth. No idle or careless words.
- Glory – You yourself are a gate and a carrier of God’s glory. Live a life that reflects His holiness.
These gates must not be left unattended. Appoint the Holy Spirit as your chief gatekeeper (John 14:26). Pray in the Spirit. Download wisdom from the future so that today’s decisions align with destiny.
The wall is finished. Now order is being established. Yield to the protocols of the place of glory.
