Theme: Confronting The Debt – What Do You Have In Your Hands? God Starts With What You Have
We gathered again in thanksgiving, grateful for another day in God’s presence and for the work He began on Days 1 and 2. Today, Day 3, we continued confronting the debt as we moved into 2 Kings 4:2.
Elisha said to the widow:
“How can I help you? Tell me, what things do you have in your house?” She answered, “Please, sir, I have nothing in the house. All I have is a small jar of olive oil.”
At first she said she had nothing. Then she remembered the small jar of oil. How many of us do the same? We overlook, underestimate, or even despise the little that is already in our hands—our skills, ideas, assets, gifts, and livelihoods—because it looks insignificant in the face of overwhelming debt.
The Core Message of Day 3
God does not start with what we lack. He starts with what we already have. That small jar of oil was enough for God to work with. The five loaves and two fish were enough for Jesus to feed thousands with leftovers.
Isaiah 60:22 declares:
“A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation. I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time.”
The time is now. What looks small in your hands can become the seed of your deliverance when the breath of God comes upon it.
Key Instructions
- Take stock. Write down every debt. Confront it honestly.
- Identify what is in your hands. Skills, ideas, businesses, talents, assets—call nothing small.
- Surrender the little. Multiplication requires surrender, not perfection. Lift what you have before the Lord in thanksgiving the same way Jesus lifted the loaves and fish.
- Renew your mind. Reject the scarcity mindset that sees the glass as half empty. God wants to liberate our thinking so we can cooperate with Him.
This journey is not only for us. It is for our children and our posterity. We refuse to pass on a legacy of debt. By the sword of the Spirit we cut every string connecting our children to our current indebtedness. They will inherit abundance, not bondage.

- Every yoke of debt is broken by the anointing.
- I move from scarcity thinking into a mindset of more than enough.
- My children are separated from generational debt and will live in abundance.
- The oil that already paid the debt is working in my life, my family, and my lineage.
Closing Charge
Do not despise your small jar of oil. Do not stay away from the altar. Show up consistently. This is a divine moment and a supernatural season. God is intentional about bringing His children out of the snare of debt and establishing a lasting legacy of freedom and abundance. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with us all.
Who the Son sets free is free indeed.
