Day 43 – Register the People: Identity and Inheritance
On Day 43 of our 52-day journey, the Lord turns our attention to a critical next step after the wall is secured: registration.
In Nehemiah 7:4-5 we read that the city was large but the people were few and the houses were not yet rebuilt. Then God put it into Nehemiah’s heart to gather everyone and register them by genealogy.
Identity had to be restored before inheritance could be properly allocated.
This is exactly what God is doing with us today.
Indebtedness often attacks our sense of identity. It whispers that we are failures, disqualified, or forgotten. But Heaven has a different record.
You are called by name.
Isaiah 43:1 — “I have called you by your name; You are Mine.”
You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9).
Only those written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will enter (Revelation 21:27).
No registration means no full access to the inheritance God has prepared.
Today the Lord is:
- Restoring our true identity in Christ
- Calling us to take stock and document what He is doing
- Reminding us that a Book of Remembrance is being written (Malachi 3:16)
- Affirming that we are sons and daughters — not bastards
- Preparing us to receive the allocation that belongs to the registered
Stay consistent. Stay registered. Stay in the Book.
Your name is written. Your inheritance is secure.
Hell cannot erase what Heaven has recorded.
