GODLY GENERATIONS

FAST FRIDAY FOR FIRSTBORNS
FRIDAY 14TH MAY 2021
THEME: ESTABLISH AND BLESS MY GENERATIONS O LORD

TEXT: GENESIS 17.7: “And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be GOD to you and your descendants after you.”

Beautifully blessed day beloved mums, dads and parent-intercessors. Welcome to the Second Friday in the month of May 2021. We give GOD thanks and praise for the good works He is already doing in the lives anď destinies of our firstborns and by extension our other children.

Today, we are praying regarding the establishment of the generations of our children.

GOD our Father thinks in terms of generations, whatever He is doing with someone, know of a surety that His plan is for that good work to continue. He is the LORD of history, the Ancient of Days who is weaving together the stories of individuals, generations and nations into His eternal purpose.

He sees our lives in the context of the big picture. His purpose and plan are greater than any individual and continues from generation to generation and this is how He wants us to think – long term! Today our fast and prayers is that our firstborns and their generations after them will not lose their firstborn position and heritage, rather, they will be eternally established by the power and mercy of GOD.

Let us meditate on the scriptures below and be spurred to pray that our lineages will be established in GOD and our family generations will be that of influence.
