FAST FRIDAY FOR FIRSTBORNS FRIDAY 9 DECEMBER 2022 THEME: GRATITUDE FOR MUPP TEXT: PSALM 107:1 NKJV “Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.”
Good news day beloved parent-intercessors. Welcome to another Fast Friday.
Today, we’d be taking on our assignment in an unusual dimension and direction.
Our fast and prayers for today will be for the assignment and commission of GOD that is a rallying point for us all on this Fast Friday Prayer Altar – MUPP.
Mothers United in Prayer and Praise Ministry International (MUPP) is a ministry raised specially for the cause of firstborns and this assignment we have faithfully been carrying out for the past 11years. This means that the Ministry itself is a firstborn child of sorts.
HENCE TODAY, ALL OF US ARE ENJOINED TO TAKE MUPP AS THAT FIRSTBORN CHILD TO FAST AND PRAY FOR TODAY.
Our fast and prayers are thanksgiving themed. All we are required to do is just to thank GOD for His goodness, mercy, favour and blessings on the ministry.
Let us meditate on and thank GOD with these scriptures:
II Corinthians 2:14 NKJV “Now thanks be to GOD who always leads us in triumph in CHRIST, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.”
Thank GOD for leading MUPP in triumph these past 11years. Thank Him for making her a ministry, assignment and commission that has spread the fragrance and knowledge of CHRIST in the world.
Psalms 103:1-5 NKJV “Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”
Thank GOD for His blessings over MUPP. Remember the testimonies you have gotten on this altar of prayer and thank Abba for these benefits as the scripture highlighted them.
Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to GOD; and the peace of GOD, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through CHRIST JESUS.”
Thank GOD for His peace that we have enjoyed as His people even in turbulent times. Thank Him that He has kept MUPP grounded in righteousness. Thank Him for all the answers we have received and enjoyed in the past 11years and in the years ahead.
To your duty posts beloved parent-intercessors. May the Father hear and heed our requests this day and always because we have asked according to His word and in the name of His Son, our LORD JESUS CHRIST Amen.
