Blessings beloved,
To live a higher life is to live an aided life, a life of being carried by the Spirit, a life where victories are won seemingly cheaply! This life is available when one’s discernment and spirit-sensitivity is on the cutting-edge. Of course, what makes this easiest and most authentic is when one has a personal relationship with and is surrendered to the Lordship of the Son of GOD, our LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Today, we are called to a higher life in JESUS. A higher life of sensitivity and discernment. Scripture says in 1 John 5:11-12 “And this is the record, that GOD hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of GOD hath not life. “
As a child of GOD called to a higher life, please remember that you have power over discouragement, sickness, crises, and above all, you have power over the devil, and negative circumstances of life. You are a Victor and never a victim. Even when it seems you are dealt an unfair card in life, remember that “you are seated together with CHRIST in heavenly places far above all principalities and power (Ephesians 1:21; 2:6). Satan isn’t a factor to consider or worry about! He is not in your league! You are far superior to him and his cohorts. You carry the DNA and mandate of the Trinity!
The scripture in our key text says of the sons of Issachar, “they understood the signs of the times.” As a result, their knowledge and judgment were top notch and descriptive of part of what it means to live the higher life.
Today as you round up your reflections and your working week, press on into your commitment to living the higher life! Press into the heart of GOD! Press into discernment and sensitivity. May GOD elevate you in relevance. May you receive a generous outpouring of the gift of discernment and sensitivity. May your spiritual and professional axe-head not be dull but receive a sharpening. May you be elevated to the cutting-edge realm in all things. You are a Victor of the higher life!
