THANKSGIVING FAST FRIDAY FOR FIRSTBORNS
FRIDAY 27TH AUGUST 2021
THEME: THANKSGIVING FOR ANSWERED PRAYERS IN AUGUST!
TEXT: 2 CHRONICLES 29:31 “Then Hezekiah answered and said, Now that you have consecrated yourselves to the LORD, come near, and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the house of the LORD.” So the assembly brought in sacrifices and thank offerings, and as many as were of a willing heart brought burnt offerings.
Beautiful Friday beloved parent-intercessors. It’s the last Friday of August and time to specially wait on the LORD in appreciation for the lives and destiny-fulfilment of our firstborns and by extension our other children. The last Friday in the month is our Thanksgiving Fast Friday where we give GOD thanks for all the answers we have received from the prayers taken in the course of the month.
Today again, I want us to continue to note for action a very important spiritual discipline and arsenal that we started engaging last month and which we will henceforth be engaging in addition to our fast, prayers, praises and thanksgiving every last Friday of the month.
Each one is to come with a special thanksgiving seed and offering once a month as we come before the Father to thank Him for all He has done for us and particularly in the lives of our children while seeking His face. Please see again our key text for today, take a cue and give as the Spirit instructs you. Your willingness to bring a sacrificial offering to the LORD is key. It is not by compulsion. For those who have a witness in their spirit about this though, you cannot afford to ignore it.
This month, we have prayed and asked Father GOD for the following prayer requests for our children:
Week 1: EXEMPTION FROM COSTLY MISTAKES. Week 2: DECODING THE MYSTERY BEHIND REVELATIONS (PICTURE OF THE HAWK AND SNAKE PICTURE). Week 3: VICTORY OVER THE JEZEBEL SPIRIT. And for today being week 4, we are thanking Father GOD for all He did in the last three weeks.
We will be deliberately thanking GOD for all these and more that He has done in the lives of our firstborns and by extension our other children. With these scriptures below and more that the Spirit highlights for us individually, let us give GOD thanks for all He has done for us and our children in the course of the month:
Jeremiah 30:19 “And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of those who make merry; I will multiply them, and they shall not diminish(be few); I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.”* Amen and Amen!
Psalm 147:7 NKJV “Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; Sing praises to our God with the lyre,”
1 Chronicles 16:29 AMP “Ascribe to the Lord the glory and honor due His name; Bring an offering [of thanksgiving], and come before Him; Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness.”
Revelation 7:12 AMP “saying, “ Amen! Blessing and glory and majesty and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might belong to our GOD forever and ever. Amen.”
Psalm 75:1 NKJV “We give thanks to You, O GOD, we give You thanks! For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near.”
1 Corinthians 15:57 “But thanks be to GOD, who gives us the victory through our LORD JESUS CHRIST.”
• Let’s give GOD thanks for winning lasting victories for our children in the course of the month.
•Let us thank Him that He has made His name near to us and our children.
•Let us thank Him for exempting our children from costly life mistakes.
•Let’s thank Him for decoding the mystery of the snake and hawk picture and for giving us diverse understanding from the different interpretation and understanding shared.
•Let’s thank Him for victory over the Jezebelic spirits of life.
• Finaly, let’s thank Him for the privilege of being at our duty posts always and for progressively leading us to His will per time.
Today again, as we engage at our duty posts as we have committed to doing every Friday, may the LORD accept our Thanksgiving praise, gratitude and sacrificial offerings and seeds Amen. You may send your thanksgiving offerings and seeds to our ministry account if led to do so.

With this instruction coming for us this season after many years of engaging the Father on the Fast Friday mandate, it is necessary for us to take heed to it and not ignore it but move with precision. May this seed as we release it to the Father speak for our children’s destinies when it is needed in the name of JESUS CHRIST Amen.
